Incomprehensibly, White House sitting on most interesting aspect of OBL raid

Hero Dog Helped Nab Osama Bin Laden

The elite team of Navy Seals involved in the death of the most hunted man in the world was made up of 79 commandos and one dog, according to the New York Times.

The explosive-sniffing dog was lowered from one of the three Black Hawk helicopters into Osama Bin Laden’s hideout in the town of Abbottabad, Pakistan, The Sun reports.

As of yet, no details have been released about the dog or his/her role in the operation. But this is probably one of the most highly trained military dogs in the world, and I hope that as the story unfolds, we learn more about him/her.

  1. the story is a hoax. Navy SEALS don’t employ dogs, they have trained bottlenose dolphins for sniffing out explosives.

some of them are also trained to fly in copters.
