If you’re going to do a music video-centered post, and don’t want to screw up the design and give me a headache, please do one or more of the following:
- Write an “Excerpt” and place it in the “Excerpt” box you’ll see on the post edit screen, right below where you do the post. This is the preferred method, and is good practice for all posts that you don’t want just to have auto-excerpted;
- Format your post as an Aside AND put it in the “Asides” Category (very top of the list) – which will exclude it from the featured posts “widget”;
- Use the “embed HTML” option on the music videos instead of just putting up the raw links to let the blog embed them for you.
