Sorry, but that's absurdly reductive. Even if it was all "skyrocketing food prices," that wouldn't answer the question why Morsi and the MB were the ones chosen to cope.

If untested, the claim is irrelevant anyway. There's no scoreboard, or panel of international judges. It's not horseshoes or science. His claim is in fact that the measures he has taken will preserve "the revolution." It's the opposition taking to the streets calling him Pharaoh. In the meantime, "consolidation of power" is "the stability of the country."
